Page needs some work...

For those that still work on modwiki... Seems to me that the whole scripting page of modwiki really needs help. I offer to put what I can in level scripting and scripting basics etc. Also, I believe the different forms of scripting should be at the top of the article, as I know that many times when I've referred to the page I've gotten lost looking for GUI scripting. --Paveway 22:05, 20 May 2007 (CEST)

Be welcome to start the level scripts article. It would be a nice place to note things like the "call" key in triggers, the "main" routine, etc. I think it hasn't been mentioned anywhere other than some tutorials. However, I would link to scripting basics if you want to touch on general scripting. My idea of the scripting basics article was for it to be one page where all kinds of scripting could be touched in the style of a manual or programming book. (One could argue if that would still keep it "basic", of course.)
As for the different forms, you are right that they should be near the top of the page. I would place the Overview above it though, as a means to explain the page. I just noticed that I could also have chosen a style similar to the Scripting basics page where the 'overview' text is placed above the content table. --Kamikazee 22:33, 20 May 2007 (CEST)

Sounds good - I will tool around with the various scripting sections here and see what I can come up with - I am eager to work on the level scripting section seeing as thats my primary focus when working with D3 - level scripting and gui scripting. Will keep everyone updated. --Paveway 23:10, 20 May 2007 (CEST)
