Talk:AF editor

I propose moving this article to "AF Editor" since it is about the ingame editor, not the file format. OrbWeaver 19:26, 21 Sep 2005 (W. Europe Daylight Time)

Definetly somewhere else than the file format page. -- iceheart 22:06, 21 Sep 2005 (W. Europe Daylight Time)

Where are editor documentation pages?

Yeah, I felt a little funny putting this here, but I couldn't find anywhere else, and I figured doing so would spark the conversation.

Is there a standardized format for tutorials like this? I'd like to see more content from the boards and external tut links migrate here in some sort of standard form.

ah, crap- just realized it would fit under the commands:editAFs, but moving it there didn't seem to work.

Sorry about the newb. mistakes.

AF Editor is where it should be...

... but be sure to link it from all relevant places, such as the console command etc. -- iceheart 01:23, 22 Sep 2005 (W. Europe Daylight Time)

But also...

This more tutorial like text should be in a separate page of it's own, something like "How to set up a basic AF" or similar. This page ideally should have something like the DoomEdit page.

The day for decision making has come

I've opted to change the format of this page to be more similar to that of the map editor page.

The number of AF topics on the forums has done it for me. We have to get something similar to the map editor article up. I'm using Slyrr's writeup as a base to work from.

I was going to copy the content that was here into a tutorial page but since this would have been the first, I really am not sure where to put it nor how to tie into it.

For the time being it is in the history. At later date when things here are more fleshed out, it should be easier to find a more suitable home for the tutorial.
